Work at The Drum

Drum Theatre employs a range of customer service, technical and administrative staff. Drum Theatre is a cultural facility of the City of Greater Dandenong, so employees are engaged under the Greater Dandenong City Council Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2012 and are eligible for a range of Council benefits including a friendly team environment, salary sacrificed child care (where available), discounted gym membership and a vibrant social club.

Drum Theatre is very fortunate to have many dedicated volunteers who donate their time to have fun, gain experience and help us present quality shows for the community. Regular and casual volunteer opportunities are available to members of the community who have time to give and are able to pitch in with customer service, promotional materials mailouts, or other tasks.

From time to time, Drum Theatre facilitates student placements for people looking to contribute to a positive, busy office and to gain experience in arts administration, venue management and/or marketing duties.We welcome tertiary students wanting to undertake practical assessed placements as part of their tertiary courses. These placements must take place in business hours, and places are limited.
